This is a Story of a Girl

She doesn't know, but I remember...

 She doesn't know why she keeps it.

She doesn't know why it's there.

She doesn't know how she got it,

And she doesn't know why she cares. 

 

But I remember the beauty,

That lay in her eyes,

As she sang her story,

Of  "Once Upon A Time..."

 

And I remember why she said it,

I remember the truth.

That she never let go,

As "Goodbye," we salute.
