Good Manners

Good Manners

A Poem by kelseyalexrose
"

Mamma always said good manners were the best weapon a girl could ever have.

What do you do when the ghosts in you head get louder every night?

When the shadows on your wall grow legs and start moving around your room?

What do you do when your demons crawl up your body and whisper hot breathe into your ear?

Do you scream?

Do you run?

Or do you lay in silence and let them finish speaking?

After all, mamma always told you to be polite.

very nice indeed.

or turn my wall into a movie screen
play the fears that reflect memories forgotten as a movie screen
the sounds echo along the halls of my mind
while reflecting the visions the tightest shut eyes could never hide
they know i can't shut the eye of my mind

;) very nice.. you took me with you on that.
