Too WildA Poem by kelseyalexroseI don't know either. I've got wildness on the brain. The moon controls the tides, And the beating rhythms of my heart. She holds me close And wipes away The red-stains from my teeth. Too wild, she whispers-- Too wild in the heart. Too wild, she says, That I choke with it; Jaw-locked, Tongue-crunched, Bold with it. Until I return to her; Teeth stained red with the words I never said, And she wipes them clean So I can breathe, And I can speak, And I can just… be.
