Second of July

Second of July

A Poem by Kelsey Mclaren
"

Short and sweet poem

"
I’ll remember when you kissed me the first time under that dimly street light

I’ll remember how it felt to be in your arms and drown in the essence of that July night

That’s my dearest memory and I’ll forever hold it close

Forever remember how it felt to be completely and utterly yours.

Such a wonderful, lovely write

Indeed, short and sweet. It also would have been a coldish night which would be more stamped in the memory, I am supposing because a warm intimate connection in such conditions makes more of an impact. But that's just me. Thanks for sharing.
