She looks up to those around 

Wanting to know why love has to be a game 

Leaving a mark you cant erase 

Wondering if shes way over her head 

Whats life got planned 

She has yet to see 

Her meaning of life 

Leaning on for hope 

She sits alone 

wondering why 

Life has to be so hard 

jumping over hurdles 

like a wild fire 

Hoping for love to complete her 

Leaning on for a hug 

For a touch from anyone around 

Someone please let me lean

Everyone sees love differently. Some see it as a game while others take it more seriously. We shouldn't look for the idea of love or that one person to complete us. We have to find our own happiness and make ourselves feel complete, accepted, loved. Depending on others for that type of affection isn't possible for too long or you become too dependant and attached and drive them away. We should look in a person for what we personally deserve and not fall for the sometimes "simple" things they say to capture our very hearts. Just remember that make yourself happy first, accept yourself and lastly, that actions speak louder than words.
