From A Nieces Eye

From my eye

There is a path my life took for a reason 

Many years I stood back and watched 

This one person 

A special connection was felt from a distance.

Years I waited wondering 

Excited for the short visits that came to be

Just to hug the woman I forever admire 

Little words were said 

Locked like a chest 

But just being in the same room as she was 

A young girl who loved her more then the world itself 

She begins to see 

How much more amazing she was

Years pass and the bond grows 

By the way of holding her hand 

Gave me strength

The visits now are more frequent 

The talks are more deeper 

We soon became bonded for life 

Something i waited and hoped for 

I know the love i have for her will never leave my heart 

It has always been because of this woman 

That I stand here today

The reason my heart still beats 

She is my everything 

She is my aunt

From an nieces eye

I got a true life long friend 

That will always be my life

She is gold 

She is flawless 

She is my heart

I have found my hero 

Loving her more and more 

Each passing day 

I have found my hero

This poem is in my point of view from the age of 8 to the age of 22... I met my aunt Tarry Franck for the first time at 8 and always have admired her since before i met her but when i saw her for the first time my life was forever changed I love her so very much.. She is my rock I love you
