YellowA Poem by Kelly
Whispers
Pines and wind Encroaching dark A gentle tug Loss Something fallen away A loose existence A heart stained gray Reaching Strong arms around me A phantom pain A world I once knew Timeless Each rock and root Laced with memories Like a heart I used to know Once The one I thought I knew Like I can almost remember Like I can go home Right Like I'm where I'm meant to be Familiar in it's ways My yellow again Years Chasing, incomplete and strange And my yellow waits And my heart knows the way © 2012 KellyFeatured Review
