Yellow

Yellow

A Poem by Kelly

Whispers
Pines and wind
Encroaching dark
A gentle tug

Loss
Something fallen away
A loose existence
A heart stained gray

Reaching
Strong arms around me
A phantom pain
A world I once knew

Timeless
Each rock and root
Laced with memories
Like a heart I used to know

Once
The one I thought I knew
Like I can almost remember
Like I can go home

Right
Like I'm where I'm meant to be
Familiar in it's ways
My yellow again

Years
Chasing, incomplete and strange
And my yellow waits
And my heart knows the way

You systematically graced your way through the 7 stages of heartache. (I felt) They each describe how it feels when you look at each single word. How to place them in your way through what we all see but can't really describe to somebody, except "yeah it hurt me" type answer. You really did a very nice job here..I could see each answer to the meaning in the single word in my own life. :)
