When you can feel the pain striking your heart
When the world is suddenly so real and sharp that it takes your breath away
When the loneliness threatens to overwhelm you
When you realize just how small you are,
When you feel like nothing you can do will ever make a difference
When you wrack your brain for a way but come up empty
When you feel so inferior you could just disappear
When nothing can fill the space
When you finally understand how much it really means to you
When all you want to do is have one more chance
When you run the scene over and over and over again and think of a million better ways
When you feel like everything is just slipping out of your grasp
When you feel like the world will never let you win
When you are apprehended by a heartache so immediate that all you can do is breath
When you let the music become everything you are
When you feel is soaring through your veins and pumping your heart along to its beat
When you accept that things are going to be bad for a while, that you are hurting
When no tears will come but the heartache persists
When there is nothing you can do but wait
When you know that this will heal, but right now all you can do is hurt
When all you can do is close your eyes and ride it out

Resigned to what is...humbling thought. You tapped into every single one of the definitions to "Heartsick" in my book. This was excellently crafted and wrote extremely well. The only real consistant repeat is "When" then from there they all vary...amazing piece of work you created...yes indeed :)
