Memories float past on the
Thin winter air
Whispering tales of summer
Tales whisked away by chilly fall breezes
Tales that come back to me
On these cold winter days
Bittersweet memories
Forever in the back of my mind
Beautiful blue
Cool and serene
Lush green and earthy brown
Fresh air and pine trees
The smell lingers
Even now
I look our through the
Frozen glass
Searching
For that beautiful blue
Bittersweet memories
Take me back
I close my eyes
Remembering
