The girl with the blue eyesA Poem by MickeyI see her stare at me her blue eyes piercing, she looks so lonely, so sad and cold, my mother tells me i cant go. I see her stare at me her blue eyes bruised, her hair not brushed, her rags all torn, her cheeks not flushed. I see her stare at me her blue eye begging, Oh, i want to go to her so bad! but my mother warns me and makes me ignore her silent pleas. I see her stare at me her blue eyes filled with envy she walks across the snow to my small bedroom window She taps it and says Hello. I see her stare at me her blue eyes filled with happiness and surprise, as i take her hand and show, her the world she would have never known.
