Almost there

This is for those moments when you feel so close to finally doing something right and it just crumbles in front of you and you feel utterly and completely hopeless.

There is hope and light in the young ones
eyes it is so bright and so magical and oh it is
everything all at once and It is glittering like newly
shined diamonds and the world is waiting
With open arms and the sun is shining just
for him and the birds are singing his favorite song
and he's ready to fly and with each beat of his
heart is another flap of his wings and he is almost
there so close and then!
It is cold. And it is dark.
And suddenly he is hit and he falls so abruptly and
he cannot move his mind and legs to keep going and
it feels like every wall is closing in on him and there is
an endless amount of walls being created with every
second passing and his soul cries out because he is stuck
once again in the shallow pit of reality

I'm not saying that life is horrible and reality is so bad all the time bc it's not there are only very bad moments and this is just describing how it feels when you feel so close to finally doing something right and it just crumbles in front of you and you feel utterly and completely hopeless. Also excuse the lame titles. I'm not good at that if u have suggestions plz let me know!
