the day the boy saw death

the boy cried

mother

begging her

to wake

but the mother

ignored her

child's pleas

and continued

on

to sleep.

And so it was

on that day,

to the boy

the world

became

Grey.

It's quite sad and dark, but I feel like more expression and emotion could be used. Or if not that then use less if possible! I also found the structure to be a bit interesting though it could be done a little better. Anyway I enjoyed reading this!
