 THANK YOU 

 

Out of every situation there comes a conclusion 

A time to summaries 

A moment to analyze 

 

From this I know, Iʼve done some wrong but I cannot accept the blame alone 

You lied and treated me like a fool while all the while I didnʼt realize I was learning what it 

is to be humble. 

 

For that, I thank you. 

I thank you for showing me who I  really am 

For shelling the girl into a Woman. 

 

The power in my strength to walk away 

Iʼve learnt, this is not an emotion that comes easily 

It took someone like you, so low and wrong 

To show me in life where I belong 

 

I am a Queen & a beautiful Butterfly 

And If you have her then why canʼt I? 

Youʼve given me the gift of loving myself. 

 

Youʼve shown me that i am a great friend & that I can stand by any man. 

And he can be proud, yet put me down. 

And through all that my loyalty to stick around. 

I thank you. 

 

And to myself, I apologize for seeing tears as a weakness. 

I apologies for feeling hurt is a downfall. 

I have the strength to cry amongst strangers & still stand tall. 

I have the strength to stand despite my fears 

To know who I am amongst the rain that falls. 

 

How can I be sad when all theses things make me who I am? 

How can I be sad to know iʼll never fall in love with someone like you again? 

There was once a point when I was sad you walked in my life 

Now I cant imagine what life would be like if I wasnʼt who I now am.
