what is a girl without a brother or a sister?

how can a girl feel whole

when she loses the person who she thought her mom was?

when she loses the closest people to her

her brothers

the pain that cuts

deep into my soul

the un-mending wound

left there to burn

un-healing and un-attended

i'm left here alone

a picture

a constant reminder

the date of my brothers births

come round every year

i miss them

because of mothers mistakes

i cant see you

because of mothers betrayal

makes this unbearable 

i promise

one day 

we will see each other again

but 

until then

ill be sitting here

waiting....

hoping...

praying..

that that one day 

comes soon
