To the Highest Exponent

To the Highest Exponent

A Poem by Lunette Lariz
"

For the most amazing educator I've met

"
Math was never my favorite,
Yet you made me fascinated.
I thought I would never make it,
But you kept me motivated.

I would never forget your values,
Your advice, your talks.
I would treasure them, your virtues,
I would even impart them to my folks.

You are indeed amazing.
Yes, you are that famous.
Many want to hear you teaching,
But some just can't help but be jealous.

We are champions with you.
You brought out the best in us.
You let us see the world in a different view.
Yes, yet the time was so fast.

In school, you became our hue.
Our love for you will never die.
No one wants to be left by you.
No one didn't weep when you bade goodbye.

We'll cherish every moment we all spent.
We love you to the highest exponent.

This brought tears to my eyes... I really missed "that man"... Even though I always fell asleep in his class, he knows how to keep me awake through his jokes... I must admit he even caught me eating once during English...

"Math was never my favorite,
Yet you made me fascinated."
It's not even my favorite but I always look forward to his time because it was always lively...

"you are that famous."
It's true that his name is really famous...

"But some just can't help but be jealous."
A happy :P to them...

"No one didn't weep when you bade goodbye."
We can always see him when he is not busy right???

"We love you to the highest exponent."
It is positive infinity... Not negative... I better stop before I rant about logarithms and the like...
Nice write...

A wonderful expression of gratitude to the values of organization and communication in the way it fosters learning and understanding. School would never be the same without the institutionalized idea.

It seems a bit strained for a poem, but it's simple and easy to comprehend. Keep it up.

Yes, they should be treasured! Thanks, Kabayan. :D
A very sweet poem that will be sure to put a smile on the teacher's face. I love the idea, and the last two lines piece it together wonderfully. Great job. :)
