the road

the road

A Poem by Karen D Reeves

i am Doubting Thomas

with stubborn faith

and forever questioning

looking for proof of that

which my soul cannot loose

from it's hand

yet which does not remove all

thorns from my side

and so

i struggle on towards Damascus

knowing, yet blind

longing, waiting

for the burning

of the Light
