A Quirky Smile

Sometimes the situation becomes so unfathomable that you just can not do anything but smile

A great storm is looming

Somebody will care to warn you

Intensively, not to move further for a while

Do not reply, just smile

 

 There are some acute bends in the river

No body can fathom its meanders

But somebody will warn you

Against the flood that stretches a mile

Do not reply, just smile

 

You are in the middle of the jungle

Among the rearing sounds of animals

As ferocious as hostile

but a sign says all are caged

and  not to reply, just to smile?

That's definitely good advice, and yet easier said than done. A nice reminder that sometimes we need to relax and "just smile." There was one line that I noticed seemed a little bit off:

"Against the floods that stretches a mile" It seems to me like it should say "stretch" to match the plural "floods." Or maybe it would flow better if it read, "Against the floods that stretch FOR miles." Just how I perceived it, though.
