Casey

Casey

A Poem by Forever Mine
"

One Year later... Your still not forgetten

"

Like a Flower

Always beautiful and unique;

Like a Tree

Forever growing;

It comes and goes

With the current;

Each page

Turning to the next;

It stops suddenly

Like the wind;

Life is never

What you expect

It to be;

You will never be forgotten

You will forever live on

in the heart of football;

Author's Note

Forever Mine
I wrote this for a friend I who died one year ago today from a staph infection... We All Miss You Casey. Also for the last line, He was a star football player, and football was the town's life, since it was a small town where we come from.
