Something in Sync

Something in Sync

A Poem by Forever Mine
"

Everything is one

"

The view before me

Is neverending

The sun and the moon

Acting as one

The clouds and stars in sync

The field of poppies

Before me sway in the breeze

I look up towards the heavens

Eagles and owls fly as one

My world is a fantasy

As i sit and ponder

I write all I see

My white dress becomes green;

Changing shape and pattern

My long hair flowing -

Like rippling water;

In the breeze

I look at the ground - pondering hell

Suddenly everything is gone

My world is no more

Everything is becoming seperate

Why does this always happen?

I wake up and realize none of

it is real

I want it back- before I forget

Before

Everything I know is gone.

Wow, this is a breath taking piece, I literally read it like 7 times just now, I think I'll put it in my library, the whole piece is beautiful. The way your words come together the way words always should, and how the flow is so easy, but the concept so honest, and we all know honesty is not easy. I loved reading this. Thank you for sharing. :)

FIRST LINE
"The view before me
Is never ending"
PERFECT opening! ALREADY I'm wanting to read more!
...
"My world is a fantasy
...
My white dress becomes green;"
Nice creativity you've thrown in!

Then I see it's tone isn't so happy... It gets gloomy doesn't it... Very interesting poem and an excellent piece of work you got here! :)

There's a comfort found in fantasy, whether a dream or simply worlds imagined... a sense of reality almost, that makes it regretful to emerge again into the 'real' world, where the colors are muted and the voices are angry... you do a nice job of capturing that wistful feeling, good writing...

Oh, so relatable! I know what you mean. About forgetting an idea for a poem- I hate that. Usually I think of the ideas just before I fall asleep. Oh, that would be a good idea for a poem, I think. And then I fall asleep and in the morning the idea is gone. I know I had a good idea I just can't remember what it was! Great job, good imagery. I really like the picture.

A very good poem. To fall into nature and the world is changing around you is a excellent event. I like the story and the ending. A outstanding poem.

This almost sounds like my poem "Wonderland". Only it's longer and has more detail. This is truly one of the most beautiful work of art I've seen tonight. This is DEFINITELY a favorite of mine. Excellent job. (:
