Lay in bed

I lay in bed thinking of what has come to be,

I wonder what the future has in store for me.

I wonder if I should give up,

I wonder if I’ll ever be free.

I lay in bed thinking of what went wrong,

All my worries fit together like a song.

I lay in bed and think of you,

Do you really mean it when you say I love u too?

I wonder if it’s true.

I lay in bed thinking of everything bad,

I wonder why it made me so sad.

I wonder who will rescue me,

I wonder what is in store for me.

I lay in bed thinking  of bad memories,

I drift away into a land, a dream land

A land that portrays what my life should really be.
