The Unsuspected Figures of the Holiday SeasonA Poem by kbjamiI just learned about Krampus and Perchta and I HAD to write a poem about it. Plus it goes with the Holiday season.Everyone full of the seasonal cheer
For St. Nick and Christmas Day is near Warm hearted smiles and intentions exist While the children do good deeds to be on the list Oh yes! That list! We hope our name is present So that of course we could get many nice presents The start of gifts is here on the 6th of December Oh St. Nick's Day I'm sure everyone remember But don't just expect candy or gold in your shoe For if your naughty a demon might come for you! Yes, a demon that watches you every dark bell His name is Krampus and he'll take you straight to Hell! Oh I'm sure you're not as jolly as you were before For I'm sure many wish they did their kind chore But don't worry too much cause I'm sure Hell is rare But yet there's another demon to beware! To make sure you behave since the event of Christmas Day As she works for 12 very long days But if you're lucky a silver may appear for a good deed But if you're caught being bad she'll be sure that you bleed! Her name of Perchta shall frighten those who misbehave Honestly anyone who can soundly sleep is quite brave For she'll come quickly and quietly in the dark night To come slit your belly as soon as you're in sight! © 2010 kbjamiAuthor's Note
