Met a young girl of 6 years old

A young girl of only 6 years old

 

She works at her station to make some shoes

Has to work to get food

Her hands are cut up and her back is sore

Can't see a doctor since she's poor

 

She walks many miles in the cold

Walks many miles at only 6 years old

Walks many miles in her bare feat

Walks many miles in the rough rocky streets

 

She now goes to her one room home

One room for a six years old

Bad clothes and she's always dirty

Yet how would you look if you worked as if thirty

 

Every night she sleeps on the floor

Can't afford a bed since she's poor

Every night she cries her self to sleep

At least her dreams she gets to keep

 

A few years past and in a dark room now

Such a sad day, but how?

People crying is the only sound

She's off to be put 6 feet underground

I think this is very well written. However, my advic to you is to get a little more attatched emotionally. Other than that, its beutiful, and very realistic. I think it is very eye opening, and completely engulfing. I was brought in immediately, and stayed so the whole way through. Very good! :D
