I'm a Foolish Friend

I wrote this a while ago. I found it and so i decided to post it

I lost a  great friend

It was what I feared

I wanted to tell my feelings

Yet feared the end of an amazing chapter

I can't even think

Why so foolish?

Why set myself up?

I knew it wouldn't be

I guess I'm a fool

Now no friends as dear

I wish I could do it over

Then I would still have a great friend

But I lost her

Tear spots on the paper

Chapter comes to an end

awww this was really sad but i really enjoyed it. i could feel the sadness in this. friendship can be hard but theres usually a way to fix it. she will be a friend to just maybe not your best friend. well done!

Just because you told her how you really felt, she shouldnt have walked away. So she lost a good friend. You were just being honest. I don't know the whole story, but thats how I read the poem. Great expression and well written. Thank you for your review as well. :) smile it wont hurt.
