Detox

What I think people might go through when being detoxed.

What is this dark place?

can I even really feel my face?

Why does my heart race?

I don't think I can even taste

 

Am I crazy or am I sad?

This current state is depressingly sad

Many changing moods from happy to mad

I'm such a lonely lad

 

Why am I very cold and hot?

I just never thought

It would be so hard being detoxed

Please just one more shot!

 

Please just one more hit!

Please just one more lit!

I don't care if my body turns to s**t!

I just want it!

 

Hell it's too late!

I can never go straight

Wow this was really good! But yet so very emotional. I really enjoyed reading this piece. The flow was nice and grammar was pretty good, there were a few capitalization errors but nothing to big. it was perfect otherwise! well done!

I liked this, even though it was said. What caught my attention was the title. I work at a rehab so I had to read it. i thought you did a nice job explaining.
