Disappear

A poem I wrote a couple months ago. I was kinda depressed at the moment.

Summer is brown
Winter is white
There is no sound
There is no night
We think there is purpose for we are here
There is no purpose, but to disappear
Then there is the thought why are we here
The answer again is to disappear

I really enjoyed the simplicity of this piece. It reminds me of the school of philosophy that suggests that there is no meaning in life. You should look it up. Many times we often feel this way about life and about our very existence. Great write.
