A simple tragedy set up,

I caused my own downfall.

I knew I couldn't take anymore pain.

A simple tragedy set up,

Just like a thousand before me.

Should have learned from their mistakes,

Instead of acting so blindly. 

It's just a simple tragedy,

A simple heartbreak.

You were everything to me,

I trusted so blindly.

It's just a simple tragedy set up.

And I should have kept my walls up,

But somehow you tore them down.

And somehow it's worse this time,

Our final goodbye.
