Fictional Poem

The warmer side of my heart,

Is the side you haven't touched yet.

The part you haven't scarred,

And killed from the inside out.

The warmer side of my heart,

Is the side with the memories.

My family,

My friends,

Anything but you.

The warmer side of my heart,

I'll keep it to myself.

Because if I let anyone see it,

They'll make it as cold as death.
