When all you ever do is hurt me.

You call me names,

Mock my appearance,

I hate it when you call me names,

Makes me feel simple minded.

Because whenever you speak to me it's in condescending tones.

Maybe I'm afraid of being alone.

It sounds to me like there is a difference between love and dependence. We as people find comfort in what is familiar. The fear comes from, "if you weren't there, what would be?" In one's mind, it seems there would be an empty void. You have to love yourself enough to not need another person to be happy, to not feel lonely. Best of luck and I hope you do what you need to do, to find what you're really looking for.
