Flesh to ash,
Disappearing in the wind. Don't cry for me, my love, Someday we'll meet and laugh again. But for now flesh to ash, And disappear in the wind. Don't cry, my love, I swear we'll be together again. Sharing secrets and singing with the birds, Like we did, Before I disappeared in the wind. Flesh to ashes, Wetted by silent tears, Falling from your face. You release me, And I disappear into the wind. I'll never leave you. Not as long as the wind is blowing, The birds are chirping, And our babbling stream, Carries my name. And as long as the flowers bloom, I'll always be with you. Flesh to ashes, Disappearing in the wind. Don't cry for me, my love, Someday we'll meet and laugh again. But for now flesh to ashes, But never say goodbye. © 2012 that-little-green-monster |
