Monster Liar

Monster Liar

A Poem by that-little-green-monster
"

About a lying man. I wrote it in about fifteen minutes.

"

Liar,

I know you're lying.

You can tell me anything,

What're you hiding?

Liar,

Do you even trust me?

I love you,

So why do you flee?

Liar,

Your heart is already locked away,

And I have no hope of reaching it.

You see the night when its day.

Liar,

The truth I no longer dream,

Of gaining it.

You thoughts float away like a stream.

Liar,

You are no longer human.

You've turned into a monster,

With twisted claws and sharp jaws.

Liar,

I won't miss you,

I'll be glad to see you go.

If I look away know,

Its because you're already gone.
