Drip.

Drip.

A Poem by Kay

Drip. Drip.

Watching the droplets slip down

Like a race, joining with the others

These little drops bring relief; after the storm they will dry.

Drip. Drip.

The memories they bring

The sweetness of an icing

It’s a special day

Clean up and hide!

A secret to conceal; a unique surprise.

Drip.  Drip.

Looking at the canvas

Droplets splash, contrasting the once flawless mask

They stream down, drip together now.

Until the crimson stain is left.

And the metal clangs.

"The memories they bring
The sweetness of an icing
It’s a special day
Clean up and hide!"
Mind sharing your thought on this part?
