Last Tear

Last Tear

A Poem by kaylynn wright

she sits there,
looking at the slices on her wrist ,
and thinks of everything they said,
all the things theyve done.
the monster lay next to her,
splattered with her blood.
a tear  escapes from the traps she set.
Screams ask her questions,
as silence answers her calls,
none can hear,
her screams for death,
her cries for life,
nobody will look past her closed door,
find the key and look within
to see the real her,
the side thats full of pain ,
hurt, betrayal , and tears.
Faced down on the ground,
screams escape her lips ,
as pain blinds her,
standing up she reaches for the gun ,
a tear forms to escape the trap,
she pulls the trigger....shes gone,
all her pain,
all the hurt. . is over,
as she falls and hits the floor,
she sheds her last tear.
