Kaleidoscope Daydreams

Kaleidoscope Daydreams

A Poem by mikayla baldwin
"

missing summer

"
kaleidoscope daydreams
you're the sun gleam
beaming through my window

at the end of my day
you color my grays
your love
my personal rainbow

summertime never ends
now you're mine
100 degrees
baby please
promise you wont leave

half dressed, sun-kissed no pressure
happy people good lovin better weather
coasts clear no fear we're together

i wanna live where the sunshines
but explore where the sun cant reach
go to miami, maui or cali
as long as get those late nights on the beach

kaleidoscope daydreams
your hands around me
everything so vivid
moves so timid
how are you unsure
when we finally reach the shore?

blacklight nightmares
you sailed across the sea
everything's so different
now my heart is frigid
but my soul remains pure

reaching reality
just reach out for me
or maybe im better off alone
laying on the shore
drowning in your monotone
waves hit the beach
like you roll on me

i love those
kaleidoscope daydreams

Wow this is great writing. What came first? The title or the poem?
