Old Words

Old Words

A Poem by Kaylee April
"

"The nights are drawn out long. And you're kissing to cut through the gloom with a cough drop colored tongue." -Arctic Monkeys

"
Caffiene fuels my nostalgia like gasoliene in my dirty jeep

The november chill tickles old wounds
and old words
regurgitate

Look for me by coffee shops
i'll watch for you by streetlight

slight poisons stuck in the crook of my arm
these stimulants taste like bullets
but slake my serpent tongue

Look for me by coffee shops
i'll watch for you by streetlight
