Whisper to welcome silence.

Breaths will always escape.

Too quickly.

Tears will always leak.

Eyes hollow and scarlet.

Face buried in a shoulder.

Hands numb and shaking.

Skies alter above you.

Wicked lurks beneath you.

Inside you?

Defy odds.

Out-live expectations.

Composed to cooperate,

yet destined to outrun conformity.

Nurturing flames of felicity.
