I Do Not Understand

I do not understand,

Why you’d marry someone but then deceive them.

Why you say you love someone but then cheat when their back is turned.

Why you fail to see something when it is right in front of you the whole time.

But most of all,

I do not understand,

Why someone you trust would do something that is unforgivable (Even if you never forgive them they will act as if nothing ever happened and make you look like a liar so everyone is blinded by their web of lies).

What I understand most,

Is how a predator hunts its prey to live another day, and as the prey dies its life fades away before its eyes.
