Who am I...

 

I am bones wrapped in flesh

Flesh and bones held together by pain

 

Pain caused by life that has left me here in agony

Agony that will never leave me the same

 

Same struggle everyday

Everyday I am in pain

Pain within my soul and my spirit

 

Spirit that flees me and leaves me empty

Empty soul, empty mind, empty promises

 

Promises that I will never fulfill

Fulfill my time here and take me away

 

Away with you is where I belong, where I want to be in heaven with you

You made me so happy for the short time you were here, now where that happiness

lived in am full of fear

 

Fear of loneliness, the pain is too much to bear

 

I can't be without you

 

I am empty without you

 

You and I

 

I am just bones,

flesh and bones held together by pain and the memory of you

 

Who am I

I am nothing with out you...

but I see the two aspects in the poem is the body and soul, without soul the body is mere flesh and bones,
