Tears Like Rain

A very sad poem about pain and love.

The rain falls down,

like tears from heaven,

and the green grass grows,

and the trees get taller,

but all I can think about is the drops on the window,

and the dark of the coulds. 

Tears roll down your face,

like rain from your soul,

and your pain is realsed,

and you can heal,

but all I can think of is the tears rolling down your perfect face,

and the pain in your sorrow.

Love for you pours from my soul,

like rain from the heavens,

and it hammers down upon me,

like giant drops pounding the pavement,

and my heart shatters under the weight of my love,

but all I can think of is your perfect tearstaind face,

and the jooy of your smile.

Blood pulses out of your viens,

like crimson pain flowing out from your body,

and your death is near,

and your pain is finally over,

but all i can think about is losing you,

and how I can't live with that.

My soul realases from my body,

and all thats wrong in the world is left behind,

and I am dead,

and many are crying,

but all I can think about is us,

and how I can again know the joy of your perfect smile.

This is not about me or anyone I know. There is no need to worry, this, like many of my poems, is purely fiction.

wow! great job kayla. it reminds me a lot of what i felt like when my grandpa died and how i knew he was in a better place with no pain, that i still wished he were he with me.
