A Story by TheKaylaPup

If the world is a stage,
And we are the actors,
Where are the audience and directors?

If life is a game,
And we are the players,
What is the object?
When have we won it?

If beauty is in the eye of the beholder,
And changes with each person's eyes,
Then how can all magazine covers look the same,
And all be beautiful in the eyes of everyone?

If Christ says we should love,
Why did we fight the holy wars?

If good and bad is perspective,
The why should it be,
That you should sit there and make judgements on me?

If these questions have answers,
And those answers have sense,
Then answer them truthfully,
If they do so exist.

People obviously thought the world was a stage when they created the gods who they assumed directed our lives. Those same people saw the gods as perfect and beautiful. They also created some not so beautiful gods whe were evil and mean. Nature put the instincts of self preservation in all life and we naturally fight with others. But I think that Jesus said that we should love the unlovable and the ones who would harm us, but people, as in the beginning, still want the gods they created who directed us and were beautiful.
