I'm fine

um, i just came up with it, i'm not even sure it makes sense.

I'm not ok,

I'm not alright,

But still I lie and say I'm fine.

 

When life's cold truth to one is shown,

It's hard to learn and love and grow,

You see the lies that you've been told,

And wonder why the worlds so cold.

 

I'm not ok,

I'm not alright,

But still I lie and say I'm fine.

 

Then theres truth known all along,

A truth you've never known was wrong.

With time one learns what they have known,

Truth that one shouldn't be shown.

 

I'm not ok,

I'm not alright,

But still I lie and say I'm fine.

 

When adult insticts kick in at an early age,

One's story is messed up, page after page.

Even when things turn back to "normal"

A child is left who wil never be normal.

 

I'm not ok,

I'm not alright,

But still I lie and say I'm fine.

 

A child is taught what the're feeling is wrong,

Unable to change they act like their feelings are gone.

Years of prentending their feelings are gone,

Make it hard to reveal whats been there all along.

 

I'm not ok,

I'm not alright,

But still I lie and say I'm fine.

 

A teenager now, the child is lost,

For survival her childhood became the cost.

Too much a kid, what she wants to be,

Far to grown up, through so few people see,

 

I'm not ok,

I'm not alright,

But still I lie and say I'm fine.

 

Life's not always so great,

Filled with violence and hate,

Though its familar quite often,

And thats sometimes enough.

 

I'm not ok,

I'm not aright,

But stil  lie and say I'm fine.

Yes, i know only half of it rhymes, I'm just hoping it flows ok for the most part.

A lot of people can relate to this, including me.
How your childhood is screwed up, and when you're older, you realize this.
But it's too late. So you just tell everyone you're okay, even if you aren't.
