Untouchable

Untouchable

A Poem by Kayla

A golden sphere,
Scorching and radiant,
Ascended and seared
The eyes of the watching;
Leaving multicolored
Polka-dots swimming
Throughout the other
Spheres which show no color.

Illuminating the dewy grass
And watching sparkles fade,
He observed those who pass
By without a notice.
Beautiful and infallible,
Yet still perceptive.
He's truly not malleable,
Though quite afraid.

I cannot refrain my eyes
From gaping solemnly
At the steady rise
Of this untouchable figure.
I want warmth.
The utter fervor as I
See him rising as far north,
As far from me--
