Suffocating

Is this what its like to suffocate?

I feel my heart pounding,

My lungs explode.

My world spins out of control.

My legs give out,

I fall gasping for you.

I hit rock bottom.

Is this what its like to be alone?

Searching for someone to help me,

They all look away..

You looked away too.

Darkness consumes my whole world,

Everything is black..

That includes your heart.

Why did I let things go so far?

No longer can I hide this,

My pain shows in my eyes.

No longer can I fight this,

Today's the day I die.

I suffocate because of you.
