Indomitable Reprobate.A Poem by kayla_ajcCan you ever accept yourself when your society can’t?A reprobate to society screeches, sounds of desperate pounding and thumping fills my ears with hot blood that pools out my mouth and stain my ironed shirt as I gash my throat open from my laughter. Sticky tears fall down my face as the door begins to wobble and the hinges begin to loosen. Indomitable adrenaline, it is a reaction to love and this reprobate loves wrong. You cant laugh the truth away. Everything is still and quiet for a moment, the door has fallen. I stand on my wobbly legs and brace myself for violence or maybe revenge. The room is calm, seemingly untouched and empty from life aside from a singular object. A mirror. © 2025 kayla_ajcAuthor's Note
