Alone Tonight

I just started singing in my silent car and this is what I came up with :P

Empty street in a sleepy city
No one's around, nobody's with me
But I've never felt less alone

You're everywhere, everywhere I look
Dont think you know just how much you took
Of me
With you
When you left

Can you feel it?

The feeling of me feeling you

Can you feeeel it?
Or are you still hiding from the truth?

As long as you're with me
So neither of us is alone tonight

Empty heart in a tired girl
Cracks are showing, he was her whole world
But she's still standing tall

He's everywhere, everywhere she looks
Everyone knows just how much he took
Of her
With him
When he left

I like the flow of words and the story in the poem. Sometime alone is better then to be with someone who is not good for us. Hard to face the truth. When we do. We become wiser and stronger. Thank you for the excellent poem.
