Is It Okay?

A rhyming poem about whether or not some things are okay.

Is it okay to break a heart

To rip it, shred it, and tear it apart?

Is it okay to shed your tears

Because you can’t face your inner fears?

Is it okay to express your emotions

Or should you just go through those routine motions?

Is it okay to state your opinion

Or should you just follow like a mindless minion?

Is it okay to do cruel things

Like stealing, killing, and destroying everything?

Is it okay to bully, boys or girls

Because you can’t contain your anger at the world?

Is it okay to ask these things...

Even when you don't know what the answers will bring?
