Shining Star

A free verse poem I wrote about someone who I admire.

He shines bright like a star
Out of every light in the galaxy
His rises above them all

He inspires others
Every word he says
Is wisdom to my ears

His optimism is infectious
His unbreakable spirit
Makes me smile to myself

His kindness is unconditional
I admire the way he cares
For those who are less fortunate

He has the greatest potential
His every action indicates
That he is someone special

He shines bright like a star
Out of every light in the galaxy
His rises above them all

Author's Note

I put as much effort into this poem as I could. I can't say that I'm disappointed.
