His lips moved in a way that made my heart flutter and my cheeks turn red

his words brought my mind somewhere I didn't think it was capable of going

and his touch caused me to jump,

with eagerness.

he had a self hatred that only I knew about 

but a confidence that gave me whiplash.

his eyes darkened whenever I said I loved him

and softened whenever I proved it.

I don't know what he made me feel,

I wasn't scared of him, I couldn't be, protection maybe?

Crazy how I find my heaven in someone who scoffs at the word.

mysterious, indeed!!!
Started out as a hopeless romantic poem but turned out to be much more.........and i loved it!!!
beautifully expressed and i love all the imagery....
