I'm Dreaming

I quickly got my thoughts together as the guys made their way over to me. I take glances at all of them and couldn't help but notice that Joe was smiling from ear to ear.

 

"Hey guys!" I waved and smiled.

 

They all sent out a mix of greetings and centered around me. I was taken by surprise as Donnie pulled me in for a hug. Gosh, he was so soft...

 

"How you doin?" He asked, his thick Boston accent coating the question.

 

"I'm good, how are you all?"

 

"Just happy we get to host videos with the lovely Charice Livingston." He gave a sly grin as all of the guys began to chuckle.

 

"Aye D, don't you think you're laying it on a bit thick?" Joe asked and Jon began to laugh.

 

Donnie playfully pushed him and we all continued to joke around and talk. They're just as nice as I thought they'd be, but I've yet to see Jordan or Danny.

 

"What happened to the other two" I slightly turned to ask Jon who sat to the right of me.

 

"They should be out next. We're doing this in shifts apparently."

 

I nodded in agreement, I was so excited. I couldn't wait to get some screen time with my other favorites. Out of the five guys I had alternating crushes on Jordan, Donnie and Danny.

 

"Come on! It's time to do the first segment." Lisa cheerfully announced to all of us.

 

During the first segment me and the boys goofed off while I let them introduce their new video Step by Step and talk about their upcoming tour dates. For the second segment it would be me, Danny and Jordan. While I was getting my make up retouched the two guys waltzed onto the set and damn did they look amazing in the suits that were picked out for them. We all exchanged greetings and I couldn't help but stare into Jordan's beautiful eyes, it's like they kept a hold on me.

 

For this part of the program they wanted Jordan and Danny to sit on the bar while I stood in the middle of them, and to be perfectly honest I didn't mind at all. I swear, today I was living almost every teenaged girl on the planet's dream and I was doing my best not to start acting like an obsessed fan. All three of us got comfortable as the cameras started rolling.

 

After discovering we liked a lot of the same music videos that were playing we had a good on screen discussion about them. As I talked to the camera I could feel Danny's eyes on me the whole time.

 

"Well, I think we pretty much covered it. After the break we have the New kids smash hit Hangin' Tough coming up right here on MTV." I said with a  peppy attitude as I smiled cheekily into the camera.  

 

As the camera turned away from us the boys burst into laughter.

 

"Check out, Charice" They both said one after the other still laughing.

 

"Don't make fun of me!" I playfully hit both of them as I giggled.

 

"You make it real easy." Jordan smiled then playfully poked his tongue out at me.

 

"Well you can laugh by yourself, I'm going." I jokingly said as I flipped by hair and walked off the set leaving them laughing even harder than before. 

 

The rest of the shoot was fun. I got to know a lot more about each of the guys and before we went our separate ways they gave me a copy of their new album and invited me and a guest to their first show in New York and of course I said yes.

 

While I was putting together my purse to get ready to go back to the MTV studio there was a knock on my dressing room door.

 

"It's open!" I yelled.

 

The door opened and I looked up to find Danny.

 

"Hey Dan" I smiled and walked over to him.

 

"Did you have fun?" He asked looking down at me.

 

"Of course, I've always wanted to meet the group." I answered as I examined his clothing, noticing that he changed into a hooded sweatshirt and gym shorts.

 

"I'm going to the gym after this." He noticed I'd been looking.

 

"So it is true, you are a health nut." I laughed.

 

"What? I like to stay in shape." He replied with an awkward laugh.

 

I smiled and nodded in agreement.

 

"So, I was wondering if you wanted to do something before the show in Lake Placid?"

 

I was so taken aback after he asked me. I couldn't believe that I was kind of getting asked out by one of my favorite New Kids. From what I knew I didn't really think I'd be Danny's type. His last relationship was with the model slash actress Halle Berry. I totally understood why he liked her. I met her a couple of months ago and she was amazingly beautiful and had a nice personality. They only went out for two months last year, but I didn't know why it ended.

 

"Sure, I can come by early and we can hang out." I spoke excitedly. Way to sound eager there Charice...

 

"All right, slammin" He chuckled.

 

We both made small talk for awhile then I remembered I had to be back to the studio soon so I could find out what I'd be doing next week.

 

"Well Danny D, I have to get going so I'll see you soon." I gave him a hug and began to walk out of the room. I was about to make it out of the door when he called my name.

 

"Yes?"

 

"Can I get your number so we can talk sometime?"

 

"Sure" I went back to give him my number.

 

Don't wake me, because I'm definitely dreaming.
