 Dear Barley, You gave me new prespectives on life. I can't speak for everyone else, but many of your poems have changed my life.  If you think you have gotten better at writing in 50 years, imagine how good you will be at writing when you are 70.  My favorite poem of your's would have to be Cadaver Christmas.  It gives such a universal message. Your writing makes our covid-19 times just a little more bearable. You are making a difference in this world, if not this world then atleast my life.  Love, Kay

Never been married . . . never had kids . . . haven't lived with anyone or dated anyone or celebrated Christmas for 30+ years . . . don't subscribe to cable/satellite TV . . . never had a cell phone . . . never watched any star trek or mission impossible or harry potter movies (i.e. not into pop culture). In short, I'm nothing like the "grandmotherly type" -- nothing at all! You may be drawn to me becuz I have no desire to do what everyone else does . . . a trait I'm picking up in you, too! *smile*
