I'm Your Deepest Fear

I'm Your Deepest Fear

A Poem by kayamon215

It's nice to hear from you again
I've been waiting for your call
I see that you been crying
And slowly pacing the halls
Tell me what has hurt you
I can make it disappear
And you know that this is true
So darling have no fear
Thanks for the invitation
I'll be sure not to leave your side
And I'll sit aside patient
Until I have complete control of your mind
Maybe I should introduce myself
I am your very own addiction
But you can not be angry with me
I am your own self-conviction
You probably feel rather stupid
Falling right into my lap
I'm a master of manipulation
You'll never escape my trap
How does it feel to play with the devil
because we are one in the same
God has completely abandoned you
So you might as well stay in the game
Don't think for a second you can beat me
A useless battle if you should know
But go ahead and make an attempt
I'm in the mood for a good show
I bet you think you're special
Remember your sobriety has only lasted a year
I'm still around every corner
In the back of your mind I'm your deepest fear
I'll always be your secret
I won't disappear overtime
Five years from now you may falter
And I'll be the first thing that comes to mind
A vicious cycle is what you're thinking
But I'm only speaking the truth
I'm satin's greatest weapon of destruction
The silent killer of America's youth
I'm a genius if you think about it
Everyone's looking for some Armageddon war
But what these fools don't realize
Is everyday Armageddon walks through there front door

This one really resonates with me. I know that struggle.

Very powerful words. Great work.

thank you :) and i hope you aren't going through that struggle anymore
This is a tough situation to go through, I have seen many people go through the struggle and some fall back into the trap. You can do it, I have faith in you! :) This almost felt like a rap.
